About the editor
Dr Ivneet Walia is currently working as Assistant Professor in Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala, Punjab. She’s an expert in the field of International Criminal Law. She completed her B.A LL.B. from Army institute of law, Mohali in the year 2009, and went on to pursue her Masters in Law (LL.M) with a specialization in Criminal Laws , as well as her PHD , from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala. Additionally, she had also cleared UGC NET exam in June 2012.
She has meticulously compiled her expertise primarily in the field of international crimes and published 3 books, in addition to having reviewed numerous other books, and having written several other academic research papers.
Furthermore, Her fervour to learn more and expand her knowledge has been duly recognised at various stages of her professional life. In 2011, she was awarded the coveted Henry Dunant Fellowship by the International Committee of the Red Cross, (ICRC), in New Delhi. Not only that, but she was also granted scholarships for attending various reputed international conferences such as the 42nd Study Session in International and Comparative Law of Human Rights, in Strasbourg, France and the United Nations Regional Course in International Law, held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Her ardent desire to acquire more knowledge is also showcased by her post graduate diplomas in the fields of Criminal justice (IGNOU, 2014), Intellectual Property Rights (IGNOU, 2015) and Environment and sustainable development (IGNOU, 2016).
